Meet the Team - Steve

Next up in the Meet the Team hot seat is Steve!

Steve is our Customer Service and Logistics Lead here at PalletOnline. He keeps customer relationships front and centre, making sure every shipment is backed by clear communication, quick thinking and a genuinely helpful approach.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what you do at pallet online?

I am the customer service and logistics lead for PalletOnline, dealing with complaints, building customer relations and looking after Truckloads.

What is it you like to do outside of work?

I’m an avid Port Vale fan, but I prefer to spend time with my two boys and wife when I'm not in work, usually at National Trust sites or camping.

Two very different hobbies, with very different stress levels!

What was your first job?

My first job was a data input agent for Cauldwell Communications (Phones 4U).

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment is a tough one after my boys, but it has to be conquering Scarfell Pike in September 2024 for charity, with a deuterating spinal condition, this was a tough challenge!

What is your go to hot drink order?

 Oh I love a cuppa Tea!

Where is your dream holiday destination?

I got engaged in New York and Married on the beaches of Negril in Jamaica, they were my dream destinations, possibly now Maldives.

The Maldives does seem a great place to visit, the water bungalows would be incredible.

What is something you could eat everyday for a week and never get tired of?

I could eat chicken, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches every day.

What is your go to comfort show or film?

Probably the Greatest Showman

I mean who doesn't love a good sing along with Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron!

What is your favourite music genre?

I’m a massive Queens fan but anything 80’s is my go-to.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Stoke fans giving it the big one. As a Port Vale fan, it comes with the territory, but the confidence levels don’t always match the reality.
