Pallet Size Requirements 

Pallet shipping is the answer if your freight is too large for other delivery methods. Pallets can be used by small businesses and people wanting to send oversized goods. 

Before shipping a pallet, it is vital that you measure your goods for delivery accurately. Doing this will allow you to choose the cheapest option available.

All pallets must be of the standard UK pallet size: 120cm in length by 100cm in width. However, depending on the weight of your goods you may need a larger pallet than a standard size. 

We cater for full, half, quarter and oversized pallets. Before you book a delivery, we always advise measuring your freight to ensure you have selected the correct pallet size. 

The correct pallet size will allow enough space for your goods to sit comfortably and prevent any overhanging.

How To Ship Oversized Goods

Shipping oversized goods is easy to do with us. Our service is based on pallet spaces rather than actual pallet size, but we still require some notice prior to the delivery. 

This will allow us to identify the number of pallet spaces you will require on our trucks and will help our drivers to better prepare to handle your freight. 

When shipping oversized goods through our delivery network, you can notify us by attaching a booking note to your order. You will also need to select an additional full pallet space before confirming your details. 

If your oversized goods weigh more than 1,000 kilograms, our drivers will require a forklift to assist the handling of your pallet and to be able to load it to the delivery vehicle.
