Laura has been part of the PalletOnline team since August 2024, and in the past six months, she’s made a real impact as a Customer Support Advisor. With her wealth of experience and friendly approach, she’s always ready to assist with your queries and ensure you receive top-quality service. Her problem-solving skills and commitment to helping others have been invaluable, and we’re lucky to have her on board!

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day at PalletOnline?

My favourite way to unwind after a busy day is to take a long shower, cook a nice meal, and then relax with a good documentary or a game - recently I’ve been enjoying Cult of the Lamb and Moving Out!

Do you have a hobby or passion outside of work that you love to talk about?

I really enjoy baking and cooking and my dream is to buy a food truck and start a pizza business! I’ve been experimenting recently with homemade condiments such as hot honey and rosemary oil and also making fresh pasta.

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I have travelled over 100mph on the world’s fastest zipline - with a beautiful sunset view of Snowdonia.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Three places I would love to visit:

• Vancouver (and Canada in general) as I would love to visit the hot springs and I’m hoping to bump into Elijah from LTT! (Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel)
• Joshua Tree for stargazing
• Norway to see the fjords and whale watching

What’s your go-to coffee or tea order to start the day?

My go-to coffee order would be a classic flat white - or an iced latte in the summer!

Do you have a favourite book or movie that you’d recommend?

My favourite book is The Secret History by Donna Tartt. If you like suspense, mystery, and complex characters, The Secret History is a must-read – it keeps you hooked from start to finish!

What inspired you to join the PalletOnline team?

After over a decade in the education sector, I decided to take a leap and embrace a career change. I’m really excited about being part of the PalletOnline team and looking forward to exploring new opportunities and challenges.

How do you stay motivated and positive in your role?

I stay motivated by setting mini goals and celebrating the small wins along the way!

What’s your favourite thing about working with the PalletOnline team?

My favourite thing about working with the PalletOnline team is the relationship the whole team has! Working with such a supportive and friendly team makes every day at work enjoyable and fulfilling.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use it at work?

I'd choose the superpower of infinite knowledge! Having instant access to all the information, wisdom, and skills in the world would be invaluable – or the ability to control the weather!
