A family-owned depot on the network the depots own.

PalletOnline is a division of Browns Distribution Services, a third-generation family business. The support team is in-house, in Staffordshire. You deal with us from quote to proof of delivery.

Transport work here goes back to 1955. Pallet bookings have been online since 2008.

Palletline is member-owned: the local depots own the network. We are one of those depots, with more than 70 of our own trucks. Your booking sits on that network rather than being sold on by a broker.

Rated 4.7 and Excellent on Reviews.io.

It was really easy to use the website to arrange the collection. There were no issues with the collection or drop off and the driver was really helpful. I will be using again.

After you book

You pick the collection day. The vehicle arrives in working hours, usually 9am to 5pm. We do not give a collection ETA.

Standard carrier liability applies to every booking. It is limited, so read the liability information if the goods are high value.

Most bookings share space on the network.

You pay for the space your pallets need, on scheduled vehicles. If the load grows, it can be worth comparing a dedicated vehicle from around eight pallets.

The quote is the price

Some pallet sites add same-day collection at checkout. The figure you see here already has it in.

In quote No surprise extras

Same-day collection is in the figure. Tail lifts are free. VAT is added at checkout, before you pay.

97% On-time

Palletline's published rate. Higher than a typical pallet network. Tracking starts once the pallet is on the network. Not a promise on every job.

Over 99.94% Damage-free

Derived from Palletline's published damage rate of under 0.06%. The depots own the network, but no carrier can guarantee that damage is impossible.

Book the size, and how it loads

Height includes the pallet. If you are a few centimetres over, book the next size. Anything hanging over the sides needs an oversized space. Eight or more is usually a truckload.

Wider than 1.2m? Switch to oversized.

If you have forklifts

Use them at collection and delivery. That is the usual setup.

No forklift? Add a tail lift

It is free at checkout. The driver needs solid, flat ground and clear access.

Before the driver arrives

Have the secured pallet on solid, flat ground where the vehicle can reach it.

Questions before you book

Can I get a quote for someone to approve?

Yes. Get the figure, send it on, and book when you have the go-ahead. The price can change, so it is worth getting it now.

What if it is not on a pallet?

We can pallet and wrap it on collection if you add Pallet & Wrap by 4:45pm the working day before. If it is already palleted, strap and wrap it so it travels as one piece. Pallet & Wrap is for items under 25kg. Packing · Pallet & Wrap

Will I get a collection time?

You choose the day. The vehicle arrives in working hours, usually 9am to 5pm. We do not give a collection ETA. Tracking starts after the pallet is scanned at the depot.

What cover applies if something happens?

Standard carrier liability applies. It is limited, so check the figures before you book. Liability information

We would rather tell you this now.

Every pallet network works this way. PalletOnline is the biggest online pallet service of our kind.

You choose the days

We book the collection and delivery days you pick. They are planned days, not a guarantee. Palletline publishes 97% on-time, the highest of the UK networks. Same-day collection joins a plan already built, or a second run after deliveries, so the window is tighter.

Collection is in working hours

Usually 9am to 5pm. A collection ETA is not available. Deliveries go first, so trucks leave full and come back with collections. Your goods only enter the network, and our tracking, once they are scanned at the depot.

Tracking starts at the depot

Once the pallet is scanned at the collecting depot, it is in the network and you can follow it. Until then the goods are on the vehicle, not in the network, so there is nothing to show.

Have someone on site

The driver has about 15 minutes. The vehicle is on a planned sequence, so waiting here makes the next collection or delivery late. Ready goods and a reachable contact keep the run fair for everyone.

The vehicle needs to get in

Tick the options that match the site, such as a small vehicle. The planner only sees those options, not notes to the driver. The right truck first time avoids extra costs and keeps the rest of the run on time.

Book the size it will be

The price is for the loaded size and weight, including the pallet. That space is reserved for you on the vehicle. If it is larger or heavier on the day, extra charges apply and it can miss the booked run.

Get the quote. Book when you are ready.

If you need time, a comparison, or sign-off, get the figure now and share it. Book once it is approved. A haulage account is not required.
