What this booking needs.

Overseas delivery is still a pallet movement. Documents and access at the other end are what change.

01

A route we serve

The quote confirms whether we deliver to this destination.

02

Commercial documents

Most overseas deliveries need a commercial invoice before the pallet moves.

03

Packed as a pallet

No overhang, no leaks, clear wrap so it can be forked.

04

Access at delivery

The point in Germany still has to take a pallet.

Restricted goods are in Terms. Wrong documents or a poor pack can hold or refuse the pallet. International guide

Questions before you book.

What documents are needed to send my pallet to Germany?

Once your booking is secured, we’ll send you an email containing your PalletOnline shipping labels. You’ll also need to upload a Commercial Invoice and provide A valid EORI Number for you and your EU customer when booking. You can find out what details are required in our help centre.

Will Customs delay my pallet delivery to Germany?

Shipping delays depend on whether you have submitted the correct paperwork for your goods for Customs. We’ll provide an estimated delivery date when you request a quote, and while we always strive to honour this date, the Customs clearance process may push this date back slightly.

Can I send multiple pallets to Germany?

Yes, you can ship up to 10 pallets to Germany with us per booking. All you need to do is proceed to get your quote and select the total number of pallets you'd like to ship to Germany; we'll provide you with our best price straight away. For more than 10 pallets, simply complete the form on the quote page, and we'll get back to you promptly.

How do I know if my goods are suitable to ship to Germany?

You can ship many items with us to Germany, as long as your items are not on our list of unsuitable goods or restricted in Germany. Our Terms and Conditions also state a complete list of unsuitable goods that you cannot ship through the Palletline network.

What do I need to put on a Commercial Invoice?

Commercial invoices are now required for every shipment into and out of the UK. There's a lot of information required for the commercial invoice, including the name and addresses of the importer, exporter and receiver, country of origin, terms of sale, the value of the goods, mode of transport, and more.   Please visit our European delivery help page for the full list of requirements.
