About International
PalletOnline delivers pallets from UK businesses to companies in Europe and beyond. This is a business-to-business service only - we do not deliver to residential addresses.
Key Requirements
You will need a valid EORI number at both ends of the journey. Commercial invoices must be typed, accurate and include full commodity codes. Customs declarations are your responsibility.
Customs and Duties
Most deliveries use DAP terms, meaning the receiver is responsible for customs clearance and duty payments. Customs delays are common if paperwork is incomplete or incorrect.
Delivery and Collection
Pallets are collected between 9am and 5pm on working days. Delivery usually takes 3 to 10 working days, depending on customs clearance and the destination country. Timings are confirmed after your paperwork is approved.
Insurance and Claims
Standard cover is £5 per kilo when your delivery moves through the Palletline network. For direct deliveries outside the network, cover is limited to £1.30 per kilo. If your goods are worth more, arrange your own insurance before booking. Claims must be reported quickly with full evidence.
Restricted Goods
Many countries restrict what you can send. This includes hazardous goods, counterfeit items and products like self-defence sprays or goods containing mercury. You must check the rules for the country you are sending to before booking.
