How long will it take for my goods to arrive at their destination?

Depending on the distance your goods need to travel, and how quickly they pass through customs, your items could reach their destination in 2-3 days, or it could be longer.

My pallet has been stopped in customs… why is this?

There are many reasons why your pallet might have been stopped in customs. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • The destination country required more information than what’s been declared
  • The paperwork has not been completed correctly and needs amending
  • The pallet contains prohibited or restricted items
  • The items require a certificate to be exported
  • The pallet contains different items to what has been declared You can read more about customs here.

When will the driver arrive to collect my pallet?

Pallets are always picked up between 9am and 5pm. Sadly, we’re not able to give ETAs for collections, but the driver is always asked to give the collection point a call 30 minutes before they’re due to arrive on site to pick up the goods.

Please be aware that someone must be present at the collection point for the driver to take the pallet away. The driver is given 15 minutes to wait on site to complete the collection, and must move on after that time if the pallets can’t be picked up.

Can I track my shipment?

Of course, you can! PalletOnline have one of the most advanced tracking systems in the industry. You can track your goods every step of the way throughout their journey to their destination.

Plus, our customer support team are always on hand to answer any questions you may have about your delivery.

I’m based in Southern Ireland; can I arrange delivery to Northern Ireland and collect the goods from there?

Transhipment to Southern Ireland via Northern Ireland is not a service that we offer, unfortunately. We do, however offer a direct delivery service from GB to Southern Ireland.
