International Delivery Explained

International Delivery Explained

With PalletOnline's international pallet deliverty services, you can send goods from any business in the UK to major European countries, including France, Germany and Spain!

Our international delivery services are exclusively for business-to-business transactions. To keep things running smoothly, make sure you've got an EORI number ready at both ends of your pallets' journey. Also, when it comes to commercial invoices, please make sure they're typed up, not handwritten.

How much does it cost to ship a pallet overseas?

Each pallet quote is unique. Your pricing is determined by factors like the distance your shipment travels, the weight of your items, and how much space your pallets occupy on the transport.

Sadly, it's quite tricky to even ballpark the cost of sending a pallet internationally. The most effective way to get a sense of the cost is to obtain an instant quote on our website.

How do I book an international pallet delivery with PalletOnline?

Booking with PalletOnline is easy, and it only takes a few minutes of your precious time!

Your first step is to get your instant quote from our website. Once you have your price, enter the weight of your goods and select your extras. Then you can enter the full addresses for collection and delivery and follow it through to payment.

If you create an account with us, you will be able to quickly access all of your bookings and associated documents. You'll also be able to follow every step of your pallets' journey from your dashboard.

Is shipping pallets abroad cheaper than parcels?

In some cases, yes! if you ship multiple parcels a month to overseas location, we urge you to consider sending a bulk pallet delivery instead. One pallet delivery could work out so much cheaper than shipping multiple parcels.

Is insurance included in my quote?

Of course! Your international shipment will always be covered for at least £1.30/kg. If we can ship your goods through the network to your chosen country, this coverage will automatically increase to £5/kg.

It's best to check with our team when you book to find out which level of insurance you'll be covered for. If this coverage isn't enough for your goods, we recommend you source insurance from an external provider before you book with us.

Can I book a delivery to a residential address in Northern Ireland?

Yes, you can! Northern Ireland is part of the UK, so you don't need an EORI number to export goods as they are moving within the UK.

I'm moving house to a European Country, Can I use your service to send my household goods?

Sadly, we are not able to carry personal effects on our service.

This is because our service into Europe is on a strictly B2B (business to business) basis, so we won't be able to carry your goods if you are sending to or from a residential address.

We are currently working on a solution that will allow us to offer this service in the near future, so make sure you keep an eye out for our service announcements.
