Nicki, let's start by getting to know you! Can you tell me a bit about yourself and your role here?

A bit about me…hmm!

I'm Nicki, I've spent my career working in the food industry and worked my way up to a catering manager at a wedding venue, I decided on a career change after a long time working weekends. I love to get out and about visiting different places.

Here at PalletOnline, I work as part of the customer support team, I deal with enquiries on the telephone and online chat service. I work as the middle person between the customer and depots when there is an issue, I export all the bookings over to the depots and look for any potential issues with the bookings.

I'm also the person that goes around the office every afternoon with a sweet treat for all... I feel that’s probably my most important role!

What is the best thing about working at PalletOnline?

My favourite part of working for PalletOnline is working as part of a team that supports one another.

That's what we love to hear! We wouldn't be where we are today without our amazing team, that's for sure!
What’s your favourite pizza topping?

My favourite pizza topping has got to be spicy chicken! Nom nom!

What is your dream car?

I love classic Fords! Mine would be an RS500 Sierra Cosworth. I went for a ride in one once, I thought we were going to take off! It was amazing, such a gorgeous car.

Great choice! Who doesn't love a good classic?
If you could learn any language in a week, which would it be? 

French, then I’d consider running off to live in a chateau in France. Apparently, I am of French descent… Ooh la la

What is your favourite type of food?

I love a good steak these days!

What was your first job?

My first job was a catering assistant, I have spent most of my career being the breakfast queen.

If you had to live in another country, which country would it be and why?

I'd actually love to go live in Wales, I love the North Wales coastline, I hope to retire there one day.

What's your favourite season?

I love spring, the snow is behind us and the sun isn’t too hot!

If you won £1 million on the lottery, what would you spend it on?

RS500 Sierra Cosworth, RS Turbo, Range Rover and a house with a massive garage for more toys!

Sounds like a plan! Now all we need to do is wait...
What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Blatant lies, at least have the decency to be honest with me.

What would be your dream job?

Flipping burgers by the sea… I’ll live that dream when I move to North Wales for my retirement!  (or should that be semi-retirement, but if I am there I know I’ve achieved my life goal to live on that coast)
