Isn't time flying? We're already on our fifth meet the team blog, and this is where it starts to get a little technical... literally! Our fifth meet the team blog is all about one of our incredible web developers, Lee.
I’m Lee, I am fairly new to PalletOnline I have been here since October 21. Before PalletOnline I worked in the finance department for a firm of accountants for 13 years before I decided on a career change and retrained as a web developer.
My role at PalletOnline is a Front End Web Developer. I focus mainly on the front-end of the website, styling and editing the PalletOnline website, from changing the colour of a button to creating a new landing page.
Definitely the variety of the role, every day I am working on something different. The team are alright, I guess.
The one program I use the most at work is PHP Storm, I use this to write and edit code for the website.
Really good at counting…
A boat and a case of beers, I would take some time and enjoy the sun and the peace & quiet before sailing onwards.
I'm definitely a night owl, I’m usually awake most nights to the early hours of the morning gaming or watching films.
Number 1 would be a bucket. I enjoy hiking so the ultimate trip for me would be climbing Mount Everest, if I am going to die at least people can visit my body for the next 100 years.
The second would be to attend the NFL Superbowl.
Not as hard as these questions, I’m still fairly new to coding so I am still learning so there are some aspects of coding that I find quite difficult, but other areas are pretty straightforward.
Two muffins were sitting in an oven. One turned to the other and said, “wow it’s pretty hot in here.” The other one replied “wow, a talking muffin!”
I am currently re-watching Stranger Things in preparation for the new series released end of this month.
I like tapas and Cicchetti style of eating, multiple little sharing dishes so I guess it would be something like that.
Wow this is a difficult question, I am a huge movie geek, movies are a passion of mine and there are so many decent movies to choose from, but I guess my all-time favourite would be Jaws.
I know the shark looks pretty dodgy but the film was marred by production delays, technical difficulties but against all odds the film was made and went on to became the highest-grossing movie and for the first time in cinema history it had audiences lining up around the block to see Jaws, coining the term ‘blockbuster’.
Well, that's our fifth meet the team blog done and dusted! We hope you've enjoyed getting to know Lee.
Make sure to come back to read the next blog in this series to meet our head of customer support, Gemma!
