Hello and welcome to our fourth meet the team series blog!
Today, we're introducing our resident word wizard, Josh!
Hi there, I'm Josh, and I'm one of two Digital Marketing Apprentices here at PalletOnline. My role here is really varied, and no two days are the same! My main duties include writing the blogs for our website, planning and scheduling social media posts and creating email campaigns... and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
I'm also on an apprenticeship, so there's lots of learning that I have to do to complete my course including many classroom sessions! I've recently just passed my first of three exams!
I don't mean to be cliché, but definitely the team. Everyone gets along so well and the environment in the office is so relaxed - we even get free sweets every day from our wonderful Nicki!
My life is a bit mundane outside of work, and it's quite rare that I do anything exciting. When I do, it's usually just a family meal or something like that.
I recently managed to buy my first car using my savings which is quite an accomplishment for me. Your first investment is always special!
I've also just passed my driving test (two days before this blog was published, to be precise) which is very exciting! Freedom... finally!!
Tough one! I recently read an article about jobs that no longer exist, and I saw that a "Lamplighter" was on there!
I'm really interested in Victorian things, and I'd love to go back in time for a day to see how people lived!
Probably Brian Cox - I'm sure he'd be fed up with me by the end of the day, but I absolutely love his enthusiasm!
Or, if I was in a funny mood, I'd probably choose Catherine Tate or Kathy Burke.
Definitely evening. I love early nights and rainy days - so cosy!
I'm definitely more of a doer. One of the worst things for me is sitting in a classroom for hours.
That's why I chose to do an apprenticeship with PalletOnline and go down a path that's a lot more "hands-on" - and I love it here!
Before I started here, I saw this joke on the wall of a web design agency:
Where is the safest place to hide a body?
The second page of Google.
I'd probably write a children's book. I'm a pretty bad storyteller, though, so I wouldn't buy it!
Roald Dahl, watch out!
Tough one! I have a cat, so I'll have to go with cats. I absolutely love dogs, though!
It has to be a Volkswagen Scirocco GT. It's such a shame they've discontinued them again, but I want my hands on one at some point.
I think they look amazing, especially when they're modified (I'm a bit of a petrolhead!)
