Full Loads Insurance & Claims

Will my shipment still be insured?

Absolutely! All pallet deliveries booked through PalletOnline are automatically insured.

If your goods are being delivered in a box trailer, they will be insured up to their full value. If you've chosen the curtainsider option, your goods will be insured for up to £5 per kg.

If this coverage isn’t enough for your shipment, we recommend arranging insurance elsewhere. Sadly, we can’t offer any additional coverage for Truckloads.

Can I get a refund if my goods are damaged?

Occasionally, things can go wrong in logistics. With so many moving parts, sadly, a damage-free delivery can never be guaranteed with any courier.

If your goods are damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving damaged goods to make a claim.

As mentioned above, our insurance covers cost based on the weight of the goods you’re shipping.

What do I need to provide to raise a claim?

We work hard to keep the claims process as easy and stress-free as possible. All you need to provide for us to process your claim is:

  • Proof of cost price
  • Proof of purchase price
  • Evidence of the total weight of the damaged goods
  • Photographic evidence of the damage

Plus, any further details which may help us process your claim quickly.

Can I get upgraded insurance?

Sadly, we’re unable to offer any more coverage than £5 per kilogram for our Truckloads service.

If your goods are more valuable than this, we recommend arranging your own insurance for your delivery.
