Truckloads Insurance & Claims

Will my truckloads delivery be insured?

Yes. All deliveries are covered under the haulier's terms of carriage. For truckloads, insurance levels vary depending on the haulier we use.

We work with a wide network of trusted hauliers and will always select the best option for your delivery area. Some hauliers provide standard liability of £1.30 per kilogram, while others offer enhanced cover or full goods value cover depending on the type of trailer used and the goods being carried.

If insurance cover is critical, speak to us during the booking process and we will confirm the cover available for your delivery before it leaves the depot.

Can I get a refund if my goods are damaged?

If your goods are damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery to report the issue and begin a claim. Compensation is based on the haulier’s liability cover for your booking, which may be weight-based or goods value-based depending on the haulier and service used.

What do I need to provide to raise a claim?

To process a claim quickly, please provide:

  • Proof of cost price
  • Proof of sale price
  • Evidence of the total weight of the damaged goods
  • Clear photographs of the damage

You may be asked for further details to support your claim.

Can I upgrade the insurance?

Truckloads insurance cover is provided by the haulier. We do not offer additional cover directly. If your goods are worth more than the haulier’s standard cover, we recommend arranging your own Goods in Transit insurance before booking.

If you need to know the exact cover for your booking, please ask at the time of quoting as this varies depending on the haulier and trailer type we assign to your delivery.
