Our online quote generator is quick and easy – it'll give you the best price in no time.
How do you choose the right pallet size?
When figuring out the ideal pallet size, start by taking a good look at your item dimensions. Don't hesitate to refer to our handy pallet size guide for assistance!
It's crucial to ensure there's ample space and that your items don't hang over the edges. Going over the pallet's boundaries could lead to extra fees and potential delays.
Remember, allowing items to overhang increases the risk of damage during transit. So, it's a smart move to leave plenty of room for your goods.
Before you send your pallet through our network, double-check that it meets the correct measurements.
Can you send an oversized pallet?
We've got you covered when it comes to handling and shipping those oversized pallets!
Whether it's a full pallet, quarter pallet, half pallet, or even an oversized one, our extensive network can handle it all.
Our pallet shipping services are designed to streamline the process of sending palletised goods to your chosen destination, ensuring a swift and efficient delivery.
Oversized pallets measure 2.4 meters by 1 meter with a maximum height of 2.2 meters. If your goods surpass these dimensions, you'll need to reserve extra pallet spaces. These larger pallets are intended for those goods that are bigger than the standard sizes.
And if your goods weighs in at over 1,000 kilograms, make sure you have the appropriate equipment ready on the day of delivery.
We're here to help you get your shipment where it needs to go.
Are pallets wrapped before delivery?
We kindly ask that all items be wrapped before you swing by for collection.
If you're thinking about using our pallet and wrap service, it's best to book it at least 24 hours ahead of time. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate last-minute wrap requests.
Also, please make sure pallet and wrap services are available in your area before adding them to your order.
To get your items securely packed on a pallet and wrapped up, we need a 24-hour notice. This helps us figure out how much shrink wrap we'll need to cover your pallet properly.
We can't offer pallet and wrap services for same-day collections.
How much does it cost to send a pallet?
The price for shipping palletised freight is determined by factors such as weight, pallet dimensions, and the distance our drivers need to cover for the delivery of your goods.
Our pricing is postcode-based, ensuring that each quote is tailored to your specific needs.
Feel free to get a quick and complimentary quote on our website whenever you're ready to send a pallet.
Keep in mind that the total cost may vary if you choose any extra services before finalising your order; in such cases, there will be a slight increase in the overall cost.
Where Can You Buy A Pallet?
If you don't already have one, you can easily pick up a pallet from your local DIY shops like B&Q or Homebase. Alternatively, you can check online marketplaces like Amazon for pallet options.
We'd recommend going for 4-way pallets as they provide access from all sides. This makes them much more convenient to manoeuvre around warehouses and load onto delivery vehicles.
It's important to ensure you're getting a pallet that measures 1.2 meters by 1 meter since that's the standard size for pallets in the UK.
If you have any questions or concerns, our friendly customer care team is here to assist you.
