How do you choose the right pallet size?
When deciding which is the best pallet size, you should first consider the dimensions of your items - check our pallet size guide for help!
Make sure you allow enough to avoid overhanging (on any of the edges) and if your freight does overhang the pallet, additional charges will apply and delays may be likely.
Overhanging increases the risk of damage to goods during transit, so we always recommend leaving plenty of space for your items.
Before sending a pallet through our network, please ensure your pallet is of the correct measurements.
Can you send an oversized pallet?
We are experts at handling and shipping oversized pallets!
You can send full pallets, quarter pallets, half pallets and even an oversized pallet through our network.
Our pallet shipping services make it easier for you to ship palletised goods to your chosen destination as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Oversized pallets are 2.4 metres x 1 metre with a maximum height of 2.2 metres.
If your goods exceed this you will need to book in additional pallet spaces.
This pallet size is intended for larger than normal pallet sizes.
If your goods weigh more than 1,000 kilograms, please also ensure that you have the correct and appropriate equipment available on delivery day.
Are pallets wrapped before delivery?
All goods MUST be wrapped before collection takes place.
Our pallet and wrap service must be booked 24 hours in advance - we cannot wrap goods on short notice.
Pallet and wrap must be available in your region to add to your order.
To secure your goods to a pallet and shrink wrap it, we require 24 hours notice. This will allow us to calculate how much shrink wrap is needed to cover your pallet.
For this reason, we do not offer pallet and wrap with same day collections.
How much does it cost to send a pallet?
The cost of sending palletised freight depends on weight, pallet size and distance our drivers travel to deliver your goods.
All our prices are postcode driven. Each quote is unique.

Where Can You Buy A Pallet?
If you don't already have one, you can buy a pallet from local shops such as B&Q and Homebase.
You can also look online for pallets on websites like Amazon and such.
We recommend buying 4-way pallets, allowing access on each side.
These are easier to move around warehouses and onto delivery vehicles.
You must also make sure you buy a pallet that is 1.2 metres by 1 metre as this is the standard UK pallet size.
Our friendly customer care team is always at hand to help with any queries or concerns you may have.
