Amazon Pallet Deliveries Update

On Wednesday 18th March 2020, Amazon rightly restricted deliveries into their Fulfilment Centres until at least 5th April 2020 - as you can understand, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and when business as normal will return.

At this time you cannot book an Amazon pallet delivery in your Seller Central account unless you are supplying essential goods. If you are sending essential goods through an Amazon pallet delivery, we will report back with any updates as and when they happen.

We are closely monitoring the solution, and look forward to continuing to support you through and beyond this time of crisis. If you wish to raise a concern with us or have any questions regarding Amazon pallet deliveries, please do not hesitate to so do and we will be more than happy to help in any way we can.

Give us a call or send a message through our Live Chat service and our friendly customer support team will respond to you as quickly as they can.

Questions & Answers

First, select a pallet that is spacious enough to fit your items with no overhanging on any edges. Then arrange your boxes in size order and secure your goods to the pallet. Finally, attach your label to the pallet and contact your chosen pallet courier.

You can buy pallets from many UK manufacturers, but you can also find free pallets at places such as supermarkets, industrial areas, wholesalers, construction sites and small businesses who are no longer using theirs.

Most couriers recommend the standard pallet (dimensions: 120 x 100 x 60cm) for shipments of up to 250 kilograms. These pallets are also referred to as quarter pallets. However, other UK pallet sizes include half, full and oversized pallets.

Standard UK pallets can typically hold 1,000 kilograms of weight and are usually no more than 220cm tall, however it is recommended that they are stacked no more than 15 feet in total. You must also make sure that your pallets are stationed at least 15cm above ground level to allow the courier to lift and handle them easily.
