Another year and we are stepping it up again at PalletOnline!

You will be pleased to know that we now have a dedicated section for people wanting to send a pallet to Ireland or even from Ireland for that matter.

There is a guide on this page itself, but for you benefit, we will outline exactly how shipping goods on a pallet to Ireland works.

Republic Of Ireland Pallet Delivery

If you're sending your goods on a pallet to the Republic of Ireland, simply enter a county in the pallet location box provided.

Delivering and collecting pallets to Ireland is quick and easy with our streamlined quick pallet quote process.

For example, if you want to book a pallet collection in County Antrim you can just enter 'County Antrim' and select the pallet location for delivery.

Also, to speed the process up slightly ensure 'Ireland' is selected in the country box.

Don't worry about putting 'County' when booking a pallet collection in County Antrim and such places; the system will understand where you mean.

The 32 countries you can send a pallet to in Ireland are as follows:

  • Antrim
  • Armagh
  • Carlow
  • Cavan
  • Clare
  • Cork
  • Derry
  • Donegal
  • Down
  • Dublin
  • Fermanagh
  • Galway
  • Kerry
  • Kildare
  • Kilkenny
  • Laois
  • Leitrim
  • Limerick
  • Longford
  • Louth
  • Mayo
  • Meath
  • Monaghan
  • Offaly
  • Roscommon
  • Sligo
  • Tipperary
  • Tyrone
  • Waterford
  • Westmeath
  • Wexford
  • Wicklow

Keep in mind that postal codes will not be accepted for any location within the Republic of Ireland.

If you try to enter a postal code as the delivery or collection address for the Republic of Ireland, the system won't recognise this and will return an error message.

Simply enter the County and make sure you have entered the correct details prior to placing your order.

Northern Ireland Pallet Delivery

Sending pallets to or from Northern Ireland will require a postcode in the pallet location field rather than a country.

This is due to Royal Mail postcodes working correctly within Northern Ireland, allowing for easy to find locations for your pallet deliveries.

So if you're sending to Belfast just enter the full postcode starting with 'BT' and make sure there are no spelling mistakes.

Once your goods make their way through our network, you cannot ammend the delivery address - this is just the law.

Please make sure you have Ireland selected in the country drop-down.

Questions & Answers

First, select a pallet spacious enough to fit your items on without overhanging on any of the edges. Then arrange your boxes in size order and secure them to the pallet using either strapping, shrink or stretch wrap. Finally, attach a label to your pallet ready for delivery.

Every courier has different pallet delivery rates based mostly on the dimensions of each pallet. The cost of sending a package internationally depends on how many pallets you wish to send, their weight, but also the distance your chosen courier would need to travel in order to deliver your items.

Pallet distribution companies typically calculate their delivery rates based on journey distance and the weight of your goods. You can actually get a free instant quote for your Ireland pallet delivery via the PalletOnline website.

Skids are the oldest kind of pallet and have been around since the 30's. The biggest difference between pallets and skids is the number of decks. Unlike pallets, skids have only one deck.

Pallets can be stacked to a maximum height of 84 inches (around 4 pallets high). Singular pallets should be strapped or stretch wrapped and the whole stack must be properly banded as well. You must make sure the heaviest pallet is placed at the bottom of the stack and the lightest is at the top.
