Can you tell me more about pallet deliveries?
A pallet shipment is the best way to distribute goods far and wide. You avoid spending extortionate amounts of money on other services that may not do what you need them to do.
If you wish to deliver a pallet to another region, a pallet shipping service is the cheapest and most reliable solution. We ensure deliveries are carried out quickly and efficiently for all our customers.
Below we have done our best to answer some of our FAQs surrounding pallet shipment. This should help to clear any uncertainty when planning to send a pallet with us.
What Pallet Sizes Do You Accept?
When packing and loading your goods, you should always measure the dimensions of the boxes before securing them to a pallet. Doing this will help you determine which pallet size will comfortably hold your goods throughout their journey.
For your reference, we have listed the sizes and pallet measurements below:
- Quarter Pallet: has a maximum weight limit of 250 kilograms.
- Half Pallet: has a maximum weight limit of 500 kilograms.
- Full Pallet: has a maximum weight limit of 1,200 kilograms.
- Oversized Pallet: has a weight bearing of more than 1,200 kilograms but must be handled via forklift.
You must include the dimensions of your freight in your calculations.
Consider more than just weight restrictions when sending a pallet using a courier service. If your goods exceed standard pallet sizes, you will need to select a larger pallet for delivery.
Can You Book An Oversized Pallet Space?
We regularly ship oversized pallets through our delivery network and do so using forklifts and pallet trucks. Our drivers are experts at handling and delivering oversized pallets to regions far and wide.
You can book an oversized pallet space on our delivery trucks the same way you would book a standard pallet space.
The only difference is that you would need to book an additional full pallet space rather than an oversized space.
Our truckload is determined by pallet space. We need to know if your pallet is oversized in advance as these usually take up at least two full pallet spaces.
What Can You Send On A Pallet?
You can ship various items on a pallet. For example, you can send anything from drained vehicle engines to domestic appliances and more.
Other items you can send on a pallet include furniture, spare car parts, job lots of smaller boxes and oversized goods.
On the contrary, there are also certain items that you cannot send on a pallet. We do not accept items like antiques, jewellery, cash, narcotics or personal belongings and such. Some items are invaluable and we are not able to ship them through our network.

Final Things To Consider
When you wish to deliver a pallet, you must know your pallet sizes and always make sure you select the correct one before confirming your delivery.
The last thing you would want is refused collection due to your goods being larger than anticipated. If you struggle to determine which pallet size you need, please get in touch with us.
You should also ensure there is a flat and solid ground for our drivers to make their delivery. All our deliveries are kerbside and we cannot deliver on gravel or grass surfaces, or where it is unsafe.
For all pallet shipments, there must be somebody present and waiting for our driver at both the collection and delivery point. This is to offer our driver a helping hand should they need more information or assistance loading or unloading your freight.
